Foreign particles found in Frooti pack !

A resident of Ngaikhong Khullen today claimed to have detected foreign substances in large selling mango-drink Frooti, a product of Parle Agro, India.
After Nestle's Maggi came under scrutiny of the Union Consumer Affairs Ministry for high lead and Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) content, questions on food safety have been raised from various parts of the Nation.
On May 30, a 42 year old woman was hospitalised after allegedly consuming a soft drink.
A similar incident was recorded today when one Khwairakpam Sobhaschandra of Ngaikhong Khullen alleges to have discovered foreign particles in a Frooti tetrapak which he had bought from a shop at Lairenkabi at around 5.30 pm.
A lump of algae like substance was allegedly found in the fruit-drink.
No medical complication has been reported.
