Imphal, December 17 2008:
Under the Reproductive and Child Health Programme of the National Rural Health Mission, CMO, Imphal West joined hands with Kangmong Nupi-Angangi Yaipha Lup in organising a day-long free medical camp at Kangmong Primary Health Sub-Centre today.
Apart from conducting health check up and providing treatment on problems related to reproductive health of women, pregnant mothers were also imparted knowledge on the benefits being extended under the Jannani Suraksha Yojana of the National Rural Health Mission and health care of children.
A medical team of six doctors and three nurses treated around 50 pregnant mothers and 60 infants beside 100 cases related to Gynaecological problem of women.
