Imphal, October 17 2013: To topple the Congress-led UPA Government which is bogged down under multiple scams and scandals is now in the hands of the country's youth, stated BJP vice-president SS Ahluwallia.

Ahluwallia was speaking at the function of a three-day State level political training camp of BJP at its Nityaipat Chuthek office today.

The onus of bringing a new administration by keeping in mind the past political history now lies with the country's youth, he asserted.

Claiming that the BJP has been making good progress in its efforts bring out the 'Mission 271 Plus' ahead of the Lok Sabha election, Ahluwallia who is also chairman of the BJP North East Election Campaign Committee stated that only the people of Manipur can elect BJP candidates from its two Lok Sabha seats.

Apart from the flaws in their education system, food security policies and myriad other areas, the incumbent Governments of both the State and Centre have been plagued by numerous high-profile corruption cases.

BJP's foremost priority is the abolish such malignant administration, asserted the BJP vice-president.

BJP Manipur unit president Th Chaoba said that the primary objective of the training was to secure both the Lok Sabha seats of the State.

The party would come to a decision at the end of the political training camp after consultation with all sections of people on how to topple the incumbent Congress Government.

Launching a broadside attack against Chief Minister O Ibobi, Chaoba asserted that the incumbent Government did nothing for the welfare of public.

He said that Government officials have misappropriated MGNREGS funds thereby denying 100 days job in a year to rural beneficiaries which otherwise is guaranteed by the MGNREGA.

Almost 25 per cent of the MGNREGS jobs have been reserved for MLAs.

Special state category given to Manipur during the NDA rule in order to bring the State on a path of speedy progress has been revoked during Ibobi's period.

With Manipur no longer enjoying special state category, Manipur would now be compelled to produce 30 per cent share for all central sponsored schemes instead of 10 per cent.

This is a result of cultivating on paper, faulty reports about extensive rural electrification and transport infrastructure development, Chaoba asserted.
