Naga Hoho appeals

The Naga Hoho, as an apex body in the State, has expressed 'much concern' over the aftermath of the Dimapur incident which has attracted both National and international media houses, both print and digital, reports NNN from Kohima.
A statement issued by Naga Hoho Communication Cell maintained "While sharing our resentment for trying to interpret this case along the line of religion, which has been the objective of certain unwanted elements for which the Naga Hoho appeals to all the media houses to kindly refrain from screening the images of the incident since it is more or less like adding fuel to fire" .
It also requested any writer both individual or media house to contact the department concerned for getting their facts correct since the high level inquiry committee has already swung into action to ascertain the fact both before and after the incident.
"We sincerely appeal to all the stakeholders to let the law take its own course of action so as to judiciously deliver justice," the Naga Hoho maintained.
Appealing all the regional digital media channels to kindly refrain from screening the clips, the Hoho said it is a highly sensitive issue, and person(s) against the peaceful co-existence of all religion, caste, creed etc.
in Nagaland are at their best to sabotage these age old coexistence.
