IRCS Manipur State Branch conducts full rehearsal

Imphal, December 20 2023: In connection with the National Youth Exchange Programme 2020 which will be hosted by Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) Punjab State Branch at Moga, Punjab, from December 24-28, 2023, a full dress rehearsal was conducted today for the team of Youth Red Cross, IRCS Manipur State Branch at the State Branch office.

It was attended by IRCS Manipur State Branch former chairman Dr Y Mohen, chairman Narendra Ningomba, vice chairman Dr L Manglem, District Branch chairman & secretaries as presidium members.

During the programme, Junior Red Cross volunteers who will be participating at the National Youth Exchange performed 'Pena', folk song & dance, Thang-Ta, recitation, paper reading, etc in their full costume.

IRCS Manipur State Branch also presented blankets to the parents of Youth Red Cross volunteers participating in the Youth Exchange.

Volunteers who participated in the previous edition of National Youth Exchange Programme and life members of IRCS Manipur State Branch were also felicitated.

The dignitaries also released a calendar of IRCS Manipur State Branch for the year 2024 .

Notably, the team led by Narendra Ningomba, Dr Laishram Manglem, Athokpam Nabachandra (secretary) and Naoroibam Premjit (treasurer) will leave Imphal on December 22, 2023 .
