Thoubal, May 05 2020: MP of Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency Dr Lorho S Pfoze and MLA of Phungyar AC, Leishio Keishing played the part of a bridge by handing out vegetables and fire woods presented by residents Anal Khullen, to the people of Lamding under Khangabok Assembly Constituency and Irong under Wabagai Assembly Constituency today.

The items were distributed to mark the love and bonding shared among different communities in face of the hardships caused by the lockdown, the MP said on the occasion at Lamding.

The lockdown has obviously broken the chain of sharing requirements among hill and valley people, the MP added while expressing hope that the little things the anal villagers have presented will revive the everlasting bond of love and brotherhood between the two communities.

Aid extended
Indigenous Birds Promoter (IBP) Kakching has extended edibles and monetary assistance to one visually impaired women and her old father residing at Uyok Chingya Near Kakching Garden on account of the ongoing lockdown.

Rice, dal, potatoes, pepper, edibles oils were provided to the destitute family by the members of the body (IBP) which has been continuously extending help to the needy from time to time.
