Imphal, November 22 2014 :
After All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) spokesman Derek O' Brien made it clear on November 18 that all dissident MLAs of the party's Manipur unit would be welcomed back into the party's fold if they wish to return, Dr Yumnam Radheshyam has appealed to the rival factions led by MLA Th Shyamkumar and MLA Joykisan to reconcile and unite together in the larger interest of the party.
Notably, Dr Yumnam Radheshyam has already been declared a proposed candidate of the party for the 2017 Manipur Legislative Assembly election in Hiyanglam A/C .
Speaking to media persons at the UCO Bank building of Mantripukhri today, Dr Radheshyam expressed keen desire for the party leaders and MLAs to join hands and chalk out common political strategy collectively.
For the by-election to Hiyanglam A/C held on October 17, two candidates filed their nomination papers on AITC tickets.
This created utter confusion among the voters and the party's election campaign could not be carried out successfully, Dr Radheshyam said.
