'Swachhta Pakhwada' campaign concludes

The "Swachhta Pakhwada 2024" campaign which began on April 1, 2024 concluded today at Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal.
The closing & award distribution ceremony held in front of General OPD Complex, RIMS Hospital, Imphal was attended by Prof G Sunil Kumar Sharma, Director, RIMS, Imphal; Prof N Sanjib Singh, Medical Superintendent, RIMS Hospital, Imphal; RK Mecolt Singh, Deputy Director (Admn), RIMS, Imphal; Sairem Sarat Singh, CAO/FA, RIMS, Imphal and Prof Y Govindaraj Singh, Nodal Officer, Kaya Kalp/SAP, RIMS, Imphal, said a release issued by RIMS Imphal.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof G Sunil Kumar appreciated all the staff especially the staff of CRED and MSS, RIMS, Imphal for actively participating with great enthusiasm to keep the premises clean.
"RIMS is among the top 23 cleanest Government hospitals in our country", said Prof G Sunil Kumar while emphasising on the ban imposed on use of half litre water bottles, small plastic bottles of cold drinks, juices and small tea cups inside RIMS campus.
The Director also shared his dream of making RIMS a plastic free zone/campus and added that he aims to provide drinking water facility to the patients & public.
He also appealed to all the staff to contribute in making RIMS a clean hospital.
Further, Prof G Sunil Kumar distributed cash prizes and certificates to the staff of RIMS Hospital including CRED and MSS for their hard work & contribution during the observance of Swachhta Pakhwada.
Principal, Dental College, RIMS, Imphal; Principal, College of Nursing; Chief Nursing Officials, faculty members and staff of RIMS, Imphal also took part in the event.
