Ayush medicines distributed widely

Imphal, August 05 2021: Committee on COVID-19 Manipur distributed Ayush-64 tablets, face masks and hand sanitizers to Covid Care Centres, Community Home Isolation Centres, local Covid Task Forces, local clubs and meira paibis in various places across the State today in continuation of its mass awareness programmes to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic effectively.

The items were distributed at various areas of Imphal East, Thoubal, Tengnoupal and Bishnupur districts today, said a press release by the committee which has been formed by CADA, UPF, NIPCO, AMSU, UPACO and MAPI Council.

In today's distribution programme, Ayush tablets of around 1,020 persons were distributed in association with Directorate of Ayush and the team of the committee also interacted with local volunteers regarding the various Covid precautionary measures taken up by them.

Apart from distribution of medicines, the committee have been spreading awareness regarding the various preventive measures against COVID-19 pandemic which have impacted the lives of the people of the State severely.

Meanwhile, members of Youths Foundation for Fitness and Service (YOFFS), Manipur and All Manipur United Clubs Organisation (AMUCO) also carried on its distribution drive of Ayush medicines-Ayush-64 tablets and Arsenic alb 30 provided by the Ayush Directorate in many places today.

Members of YOFFS and AMUCO have been striving earnestly for the safety of the people from COVID-19 and to check its further spread.
