69th National Conference of ABVP concludes

The 75 years of ABVP Amrit Mahotsav, 69th National Conference of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) was held from December 7 to 10, 2023 at Indraprastha Nagar, Burari, New Delhi.
More than 10,000 delegates from all over the country along with representatives from neighbouring countries like Bangladesh & Nepal attended the conference, said a release issued by ABVP Manipur.
85 delegates from different districts of Manipur also attended the national conference at Delhi.
The inaugural function of the National Conference was graced by Amit Shah, Minister of Home Affairs, Government of India.
During the conference, "Prof Yeshwantrao Kelkar Youth Award" was awarded to Sharad Vivek Sagar, social entrepreneur & founder of Dexterity Global from Bihar; Sushri Lahri Bai, Padiya Millets Queen/Bajra Queen from Madhya Pradesh; and Dr Vaibhav Bhandari founder Swavalamban Foundation from Rajasthan.
Rajat Sharma, chairman and editor-in-chief, India TV attended the award ceremony as the chief guest.
The National Conference also passed 6 resolutions after thorough readings, suggestions & discussions.
The resolutions are- 'Importance of Quality Education and a Vibrant Campus', 'Global Welfare Oriented Bharatiya Diplomacy', 'Youth must Adopt A Healthy Lifestyle', 'Importance Of Conscientious Development and Environmental Balance', 'Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam : A Historic Step' and 'The Symbol of Bharatiya Oneness And Pride- Shri Ram Mandir' .
The national office bearers for the year 2023-24 were also announced.
Dr Rajsharan Shahi & Yagywalkya Shukla were again re-elected as national president & national general secretary respectively.
The organisation's National Executive Council (NEC) member for the year 2023-24 was also announced.
The NEC included 3 from Manipur namely Dr Urmika Maibam, Akshay Rajurkar and Mathieu Kun Kamei.
RK Rabichandra Singh was also announced as Central Working Committee (CWC) member and Dr Thiyam David Singh as NEC special invitee.
As a part of the conference, Sobhayatra (Cultural Rally) was held in a grand manner at the streets of Delhi by raising slogans.
