Transport Dept informs bus owners to get counter signature

Imphal, June 09: Conveying that some bus owners of buses operating in the routes Imphal-Guwahati and Imphal-Silchar have not obtained counter signature, Directorate of Transport has informed the bus owners to get the same from the State Transport Authority, Assam at the earliest failing which permits will not be renewed by STA Manipur.

Directorate of Transport has also informed all concerned stakeholders/owners of bhildings/shops/structures located within the peripheral area of 9.135 acres of ISBT Khuman Lampak that they are required to dismantle their shops/buildings on their own within seven days.

Other encroachers/vendours/hotels including the office of All Manipur Motor Workers and Drivers Welfare Association should also vacate the place within the same time, a press release said.
