Imphal, June 06:
Reiterating its stand on the 'Amotpa Sendokpa' operation in RIMS, secretary military affairs of KCP (MC) Lanheiba Meitei has categorically stated that suspension or termination of RIMS Director Dr Fimate and Medical Superintendent Dr Mohen from their respective services would be to the best interest of development of the medical institute.
In a statement, Lanheiba Meitei demanded that instead of remaining as a mere spectator to the corrupt practices of the two doctors, Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh should place them either under suspension or terminate them from service immediately.
Otherwise, the Chief Minister should be held responsible for any eventuality.
Charging the two doctors with trying to cover up their misdeeds and challenging the outfit, Lanheiba said that they should understand that KCP (MC) never singled out or levelled charges against anybody without valid evidences.
KCP (MC) respects the doctors who are true to their profession.
So leaving aside these two doctors, KCP (MC) would not lay its hands on other doctors working in RIMS, Lanheiba assured.
As to targeting of KCP (MC) cadres by the Imphal West Police Commandos in the name of stepping up security arrangements of RIMS and the two doctors, Lanheiba said that the Police Commandos should understand the significance of the cleansing operation being launched by KCP (MC) and caused no harassment to its cadres.
