Indian Army reaches out to displaced students

Bishnupur, February 11 2024:
Indian Army reached out to the children at the Leimaram relief camp in Bishnupur district and provided them with the essential study materials and stationery items.
The provision of the stationery that includes notebooks, pens, pencils, and other essential writing materials will assist and motivate the displaced students who are staying in the relief camps due to the outbreak of communal violence since May 2023 .

Indian Army is committed to support the displaced people in relief camps by instilling peace and harmony in Manipur recognizing the importance of continuation of education in challenging times.
Education remains a pillar of strength and the Indian Army expressed belief that these supplies will facilitate continued learning for the residents of the relief camp.
