Imphal, March 02 2024: The first Assembly of Rongmei Naga People's Organization (RNPO) 2023-2026 was held at Chungaizeang Rongmei Colony, Burma Camp in Dimapur on February 29 .

A number of resolutions were taken during the assembly hosted by Rongmei Council Nagaland (RCN) , said a press note by the general secretary RNPO (A,M&N).

Some of the major resolutions include construction of RNPO Complex at Longmai, next session assembly to be hosted by Rongmei Naga Council Assam (RNCA) and flag hoisting of RNPO when RNPO conducts assembly including all State units.

Apart from the above, new executive members were inducted namely Gaila Pamei as finance secretary, Dangmei Pouhoilung as information/publicity secretary, Lungthuan Gangmei as assistant secretary and Poujanggai Rongmei as deputy speaker.
