Govt approves Nabakishore's retirement

Imphal, January 24 2019: The Personnel Division of the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms, has approved the retirement of Oinam Nabakishore Singh, former Chief Secretary and current Director General of State Academy of Training, on January 30 .

It may be mentioned that the retirement of Oinam Nabakishore (IAS 1984), was initially approved for February 28 by an order of the State Government which was issued on December 19 last year.

However, on order issued by the Under Secretary (DP) Ph Bhabananda Sharma yesterday, approved the retirement of Oinam Nabakishore from Indian Administrative Service on the 30th of this month.

O Nabakishore became the Chief Secretary of the State after PC Lawmkunga retired on September 29, 2015 .

But he was eventually assigned the post of DG, State Academy of Training and RR Rashmi was appointed as the Chief Secretary on July 6, 2017 .
