Sub Junior and Cadet Judo Nationals to be officially opened today

Imphal, October 15 2019:
National Sub-Junior and Cadet Judo Championship 2019 is going to be officially inaugurated tomorrow at Indoor Stadium Khuman Lampak at 2 pm although few bouts for different age groups were conducted today.

The inaugural function of the championship, to be participated by 456 boys and 423 girls from across 30 State Units including two from Maharashtra, will be graced by Manipur Governor Dr Najma Heptulla; Dr Ksh Ratankumar, president Manipur Judo Association; Education Minister, Thokchom Radheshyam Singh; Ningombam Ibochou Singh, Managing Director, Bharat Infra Project Limited, Imphal Branch and Th Arunkumar Singh, proprietor, Arun Enterprise as dignitaries.
The final line up of the sub-junior girls -28 kg was completed with Chhattisgarh's Purnima Saha and Rinki Shah of Maharashtra A emerging triumphants in their respective semi-final bouts against L Aeli Devi of Manipur and Kajal Bhosle of Goa respectively.
Meanwhile, Punjab's Shivansh Vashisht will meet Sayuj Sajan of Kerala in the sub-junior boys -30 kg final and Angel Yadav of Chhatisgarh will take on Mithila Bhosle of Maharashtra B in the sub-junior girls -32 kg final.
