Chandam Inunganbi Memorial Football : SBNYC, Mokamlung FC script similar wins

SBNYC, Jirighat and Mokamlung FC registered their consecutive group stage wins in the ongoing 15th Chandam Inunganbi Memorial Mini Boys (U-13) Football Tournament-2018 organised by All Jiribam Sports Association at Jiribam Government Higher Secondary School playground.
A total 12 teams clubbed into three groups are participating in this football tournament.
SBNYC which sealed a 4-2 win against Sunrise Club, Kadamtala in the previous group A tie did not find it hard to thump LEC Babupara by 3-0 goals while Mokamlung FC defeated Sunrise Club, Kadamtala by a 2-0 margin in another match to post second win of the tournament paving way for the knock-out stage from Group A .
SBNYC Vs LEC
Sudip Teli who hit a hattrick for SBNYC in the previous match continued his fine form to slot 2 goals in this one sided match against LEC.
SBNYC and LEC started the game evenly poise and were successful in deterring all incisive runs made upon one another through series of interception and brave tacklings to settle the game goalless in the first half.
After the breather, SBNYC shifted gears to enjoy better possession, testing LEC's defence line at the same time.
Their efforts paid off when Sudip Tulip connected to a nice pass around the edge of the box and dodged past few defenders to end the goal drought with a beautifully crafted shot in the 41st minute.
LEC also tried hard to claw back into the game but got worsened in the 49th minute as SBNYC's Bijoy doubled their advantage.
The Jirighat side ahead with 2 goals lead became more confident and continued to press the Babupara side and it was in the 54th minute that Sudip completed his brace and wrapped up the game 3-0.Biki Gowala of SBNYC was yellow carded by the referee in the 25th minute for his unsporting behaviour.
Mokamlung FC Vs Sunrise FC
Mokamlung FC today extended their winning run with a dominating 2-0 win over Sunrise Club through goals score by David and Chinghiam in the first half itself.
Mokamlung got off to a flying start with an early 1-0 lead through a goal from David (5') while Chinghiam doubled the lead with a clinical shot in the 26th minute.
The latter part of the game saw Sunrise Club trying hard to reduce the goal gap but failed in front of strong defence line up of the Mokamlung FC.
Eventually Mokamlung sealed the game 2-0 .
