YAS Department launches new training scheme for swimming

A press statement issued by the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports informed all the concerned that the department has launched a new training scheme for swimming at swimming and diving pools, Khuman Lampak Sports complex for four months (commencing from August 1) .
Under the scheme, there will be three training sessions, two in the morning and one in the evening.
The first morning batch, 6 am to 8 am, is allotted for RCC trainees while the second morning batch assigned for other sportspersons will be conducted from 8.45 am to 9.45 am.
The evening batch (4 pm to 6 pm ) is for non-sportspersons and children.
The training is conducted by the 5 trained coaches and 2 National Games gold medal winners PETs of YAS Department, the statement said.
Fee structure under the scheme
RCC (Regular Coaching Centre) trainees can attend the training with a one-time fee of Rs 200 while other sportspersons for the second batch including master swimmers and swimmers above 18 years who had taken part in National events can attend the training with one-time fee of Rs 1000 or monthly payment of Rs 500 as per the statement issued.
One-time fee for non-sportspersons will also be Rs 1000 or can also avail the training with monthly payment of Rs 500 while children (from 5 years to 8 years) can make one-time payment of Rs 500 or Rs 200 per month for the training course.
