AMFA BMC Senior Women's Football: MPSC crowned champion

Manipur Police Sporting Club (MPSC) was crowned the champion of the 6th AMFA BMC Senior Women's Football League on Monday.
The top level women's league in the state was organised by All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) .
ESU Wangkhei and KRYPSA Naoremthong were vying for second spot on the day of the league.
Under the gloomy weather the atmosphere at Artificial Turf, Khuman Lampak was tense.

ESU Vs NYTH .
ESU took the field first against NYTH Okram Chuthek.
ESU raided NYTH territory from the first whistle to signal their intentions to claim the second point clear.
I Prameshwori began the process of translating the intention of ESU by scoring a goal in the 19th min of the match taking advantage of a defensive error.
NYTHC were also playing for their honor, as they want to move above the table to avoid being last.
NYTH match the ESU offensive and brings parity in 22nd min through L Shanathoi and later stunned ESU players and support staff by T Nungsitombi in the 31st min.
To the frustration of ESU NYTHC defended the one goal lead till the end of first half.
ESU began the second half by pressing more players upfront as the second spot appears slipping out of their reach.
Change in tactic work for ESU when Th Umabati restored parity in 43rd min.
The goal added a new life to ESU players and they began to move freely in the field.
The combination between the midfield and the strikers starts looking like well oil machines, resulting in numerous attempts at NYTHC goalmouth.
In one such attack, M Mandakini produce a stunner that beat everyone and the ball kissed the back of NYTHC net producing a loud cheer from ESU players; sport staff and supporters.
For the second time in the match ESU are in the lead and they tighten the defense to hold the lead.
Th Umabati took the match out of NYTHC reach by scoring a goal at 61st min.
With two goals advantage ESU defended until the end without causing any harm to their hope.
KRYPSA Vs YWC .
KRYPSA was under immense pressure as ESU had registered victory in the previous match and KRYPSA had no options but to win the match in order to occupy the second place in the league.
KRYPSA, represented by many international and international players, began the match with flurry of attacks to take the lead.
D Grace tapped the ball behind YWC goal line in 9th min to hand the lead to KRYPSA.
With the lead under their custody and the second spot within the reach, KRYPSA employ possession football to frustrate YWC.
The design of play helps KRYPSA till the end of first half.
KRYPSA continues to employ the same style of in the second half and forced YWC to chase the ball.
However, S Rinaroy lapped on a defensive error of KRYPSA and guided the ball to the goalmouth of KRYPSA in the 55th min that stunned of KRYPSA but to the delight of YWC.
Rinaroy's goal change the complexion of the match as KRYPSA change their game and began to go for goals in order to secure the second spot.
Change in style resulted in a goal through N Ratabala in the 68th min and brings relief to KRYPSA's supporters and support staff.
KRYPSA defended the lead and secured their position as the second best team in the league with 2-1 victory.
The result force ESU to the third spot.
YWC ended the league with second from the bottom while NYTHC occupy the last position.
Mamta Wahengbam, Commandant 9 IRB and P Raghumani handed the trophy to MPSC and Imphal West District Football Association, winner of the 14th Junior Girl's U-17 Inter District Football League.
