Free medical camp

Imphal, March 23 2021:
In continuation with the efforts of Assam Rifles to reach out the general population and assist them in humanitarian aid, Tengnoupal Battalion of 26 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR(South) conducted a medical camp at Leibi Khunou village on yesterday.
The medical camp was aimed at reaching out to the remote areas and assist the villagers who have no access to basic healthcare services or knowledge about diseases they are suffering from.
A total of 59 people attended the camp including ladies and children.
Three doctors from 20 Assam Rifles and 165 TA battalion carried out the health checkup of the villagers and distributed free medicines.
The village chief of Leibi Khunou village on behalf of all the villagers appreciated the efforts of Assam Rifles for providing free medical aid.
Those in attendance expressed their gratitude towards Assam Rifles for taking such steps for the betterment of society and showed their enthusiasm for such events in future.
