Dimapur, September 03 2012:
In line with the NESO resolution, the Naga Students' Federation (NSF) has proposed to impose a 12 hour bandh on September 6 from 5 am to 5 pm as a sign of showing the resentment for the atrocities meted to the people of north east living in metropolitan cities in India.
In this regard, the federation units and subordinate bodies of NSF have been directed to impose and monitor the proposed bandh in their respective jurisdiction, restricting vehicular and public movement, closure of govt.offices, educational institutions and shops.
However, Law enforcing agencies, medical and media personnel will be exempted from the purview of the proposed bandh.
Therefore, the federation has appealed to all concern to extent unflinching support and cooperation for the successful implementation of the proposed bandh, which will send a strong message to the people of mainland India.
