Imphal, July 28 2009:
Rhythms of Manipur has presented a fusion music by combining traditional musical instru ments of Manipur and modern instruments at the North East Fusion Music Festival organised by Indira Gandhi Rastriya Sangrahalaya, Bhopal at its auditorium from July 21 to 23, conveyed a press release.
On the first day of the festival, orchestra of the Rhythms of Manipur presented four pieces.
The audience were mesmerised by the fusion musical piece presented by Rhythms of Manipur or chestra using assorted array of musical instruments including traditional ones like Pena, Penao, Meitei Pung, Dholok, Langdey Pung, Santara and Banshi, added the release.
