Imphal, July 22:
Government has extended the Disturbed Areas Act in Nagaland for another year from today maintaining that the situation in the state was "disturbed and dangerous".
The official notification, issued last evening, said the Centre was of the opinion that the entire state was "in such a disturbed or dangerous condition that the use of armed forces in aid of civil power is necessary".
