Following an assurance from the State Government of Manipur today, the Liangmai organizations have decided to postpone their proposed agitation indefinitely in connection with the August 1 "rape and attempt to murder incident" of Viewland Colony, Senapati .
However, in the event of the failure from the side of the State Government to keep its assurance the Liangmai Naga Katimai Ruangdi (LNKR) and Liangmaipui Naga Ruangdi (LNR) said that they will resort to different forms of strong agitation.

The Chief Minister appealed the Liangmai organizations to give the State Government some more time in this connection.
