SEACO foundation day
South East Asia Cultural Organisation (SEACO) has urged the concerned not to call any bandh or general strike on August 4 and 5 as the organisation will celebrate its foundation day on these two days.
Water supply disrupted
Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) has informed the general public that normal supply of water from Porompat treatment plant will be suspended for three days from July 22 due to the breakdown of water pump of Iril Intake.
Chiru Union
The Chiru Union (NEI) has congratulated Prof Gangmumei Kamei on being appointed a member of North Eastern Council .
The union also thanked PM Narendra Modi for appointing Prof Gangmumei as the NEC member.
NNYA, TYPO extend gratitude

Nungba Area Women's Welfare Organisation has urged the Government to set up an entry check post at Nungba bazar.
Paddy field submerged
Paddy plants of over 150 paris of land at Eshirou loukol, Maning Charangpokpi Loukol, Awang Lendabi Loukol and Ningthemcha Loukol which fall under Khundrakpam Gram Panchayat have been submerged in flood water.
In this regard, Pradhan S Tombi urged the Govt to compensate the farmers.
PREPAK(Pro) refutes
The proscribed PREPAK(Pro), through a press release issued by its senior publicity officer Melei, has refuted any connection whatsoever between the outfit and Sanjenbam Chittaranjan (47) s/o late S Noyon of Sega Road, Khwairakpam Leikai who was reportedly arrested by Imphal West commandos from North AOC recently.
