Imphal, April 21:
District Women's Committee of Senapati organised a two day workshop in conflict Transformation and Human Rights on April 14 and 15 at SDWA VTC in Senapati.
A total of over 40 women from various tribes and areas of Senapati district attended the workshop.
Col VS Malik, Commandant 22 AR was the resource person on the first day.
He explained various concepts and strategies of peaceful conflict transformation as well as women's rights.
It may be recalled that 22 AR had constructed the SDWA VTC in Senapati.
The VTC is a hub centre of various activities including embroidery, stitching and knitting.
It also serves as a hall for other capacity building activities.
