Imphal, August 29:
Committee for Drug Abuse Prevention (CODAP) would be conducting a month-long free medical treatment camp for the addicts at the office of People for Animal at Moidangpokpi from September 12.Announcing this during a press conference at Manipur Press Club here this afternoon, spokesman of the Committee Lourembam Krishna Mangang appealed to all the people and voluntary organisations to extend their co-operation in making the endeavour a success.
He informed that the Committee is keeping the target of treating around 100 addicts from Imphal West district during the camp being held for the first time and if it is successful, then similar camps would also be organised at other districts as well.
