AR promotes rain water harvesting

Imphal, March 18 2022:
Joupi Battalion of 28 Sector Assam Rifles of IGAR (S) constructed 'rain water harvesting system' for the villagers of Ghamphazol in Chandel district on March 16 .
In a release, PRO IGAR (S) informed that the project was built under Assam Rifles' Civic Action Programme and handed over to the village authorities to alleviate the problem of water shortage being faced by the villagers.
The village headman lauded the efforts of Assam Rifles in bringing the basic amenities of life in the remotest areas of Manipur and expressed heartfelt gratitude towards Security Forces on behalf of the villagers.
