Imphal, August 09, 2012:
Decrying the silence and seemingly indifference attitude of the State Government in tracing Irungbam Irabanta, who has been reportedly kidnapped since two months back, the Ethno Heritage Council (HERICOUN) has urged the State Government to immediately trace the whereabouts of Irabanta.
A statement issued by publicity and propaganda secretary of HERICOUN today asserted that the silence of the Government over the matter has proved lawlessness in the State.
It further demanded the Government to act fast in tracing the kidnapped Irabanta as the matter has the potential to add fuel to the fire.
