Assam Rifles Saves Snake Bite Victim

A young man who suffered a snake bite was rescued by the by Patsoi Army Camp of 5 JAK RIF Battalion of 9 Sector Assam Rifles.
Y Maheschandra Singh, aged 25 years, s/o Late Y Khogen Singh who is a student at Bhobon Skills Development Centre, Langden Khunou, Lamshang was bitten by a snake last night.
Finding no hope of survival, the uncle of the victim Y Tomchou Singh along with others rushed him to the Patsoi Army Camp at about 10:00 pm.
Immediately the victim was rushed to the hospital at 9 Sector Assam Rifles, where he was administered 'Anti-Venom' drugs and a complete 'Blood Clot Test' was carried out.
The victim survived the snake bite and was out of danger.
This timely action of Patsoi Army Camp not only saved precious human life but also reinforced good faith among the locals.
