With the opening of National (Trans Asia) Highway (NH-2) between India and Burma (Myanmar), patients from abroad started coming to India via Moreh for specialised medical treatment.
Last month, SKY Hospital here had treated a 72-years old Burmese lady, Dawnson successfully.
A Heart patient, Dawnson came all the way from Burma to Imphal in a serious condition.
An emergency team of surgeons headed by Dr Shyamkishore of SKY Hospital treated her.
