Imphal, July 24:
Salaries and pensions to Government employees are likely to be released in August first week after the RBI lifts ban on Government transaction, according to official source who added that RBI is likely to lift the ban in last week of this month.
Meanwhile, in view of transportation constraints following landslides along the national Highway 39 resulting in rapid decline of fuel stock the State Government has fixed two litres of petrol each for two wheelers and five for four wheelers.
In case of three wheelers three litres of petrol could be procured.
The quantity for diesel run vehicles has been fixed at 10 litres each, added the source.
The fuel restrictions will come into effect from July 25.
