IPAK urges for more stringent actions
Source: The Sangai Express
Imphal, August 09 2020:
Indigenous People's Association of Kangleipak (IPAK) has urged the State Government to take up more stringent actions to completely ban smuggling of drugs, alcohol and tobacco products in the State.
IPAK, in a statement, said the Government should find out the people who are involved in the smuggling of these illicit items and punish them in order to save our future generation.
In many cases, taking too long in submitting the chargesheet led to loss of evidence.
Government should find out if police and influential people in the Government are involved in the loss of evidence, it said.
