A first rate Trauma Centre (casualty ward) with modern equipments for Senapati district hospital is on the pipeline.
The estimated cost of Rs 1.12 crores have been released by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare to the State Govt, a source said.
It is learnt that the Centre will include various facilities like operation theatre, intensive care unit, observation centre, ambulances etc.
The ICU will have four beds while ten beds will be kept at the observation unit.
However the maintenance cost of all the equipments would be borne by the Centre.
To supervise the construction work, scheduled to begin this week, a committee has been formed with ADM Senapati as chairman and CMO Bhubonchandra as member among others.
Moreover some sophisticated dental chairs have arrived at the hospital.
