Imphal, April 09 2020:
Democratic Students' Alliance of Manipur (DESAM) has written to Manipur Human Rights Commission regarding relief material distribution in the State amidst COVID-19 inflicted lockdown.
Asserting that many including tenants have been denied rice, pulses and other relief materials as they are not included in the localities' voters' list, DESAM appealed the commission to direct the State Government to disclose the details of Constituency wise allocation of relief items and quantity of items available at FCI and FCS godown.
