Imphal, April 09 2020:
Even as the Nationwide 21 days lockdown is in force and the State Government has suspended issuance of Inner Line Permit to stop non-locals from entering the State in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, a truck loaded with eggs and vegetables was intercepted and four non-locals travelling in it have been pulled up, said a police source.
The truck was intercepted somewhere at Lamsang area late in the evening today by Lamsang police personnel who were out on duty to enforce the lockdown.
Details are not yet available and it is not clear from where the non-locals are from.
