Under the administrative support of 30 Assam Rifles of 27 Sector under HQ IGAR (South), a veterinary camp was held at Mata village in Singhat sub-division on January 29 .
According to a statement issued by PRO Assam Rifles, domestic animals like cattle, poultry, pigs, dogs, etc were treated in large number during the camp which laid special emphasis on educating people about Bid flu and its prevention at grass root level.
The veterinary doctor of 3 Army Unit and a team of 3 veterinary dressers of 14 Mobile Field Veterinary Hospital conducted the camp.
Apart from the villagers of Mata, people belonging to Saipun, Bullion, Khuga, Molpi, Molsang and Molkot have also been benefited from the camp, the PRO added.
