Assistance to snake bite victim

Imphal, July 30 2017:
Noney Battalion under the aegis of Red Shield Division saved a snake bite victim Sheela Kamei, wife of Guduaklung Kamei of Lukhambi-III village, Noney district .
A statement issued by the PIB Defence, Imphal informed that the victim was brought to unit hospital of 8 Assam Rifles today .
The victim was resuscitated with anti snake bite venom by the Chief Medical Officer and medical staff of the unit.
The patient was discharged once she was found stable .
The villagers and the relatives conveyed their profound gratitude to 8 Assam Rifles for the timely medical assistance.
