Donation to CMRF continues

Imphal, July 30 2017:
In their bid to ease the woes endured by a large number of people in different parts of the State due to recent spates of rivers triggered by heavy rainfall, several groups and individuals have come forward to donate to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund (CMRF) .
Dry fish merchants of Ngari Gali, Imphal and Kakching Municipal Council donated Rs 1 lakh and Rs 50,000 respectively to CMRF.
These amounts were handed over to Chief Minister N Biren Singh at Chief Minister's Secretariat today .
Likewise, Nongthombam Budha Singh of Luwangshangbam also donated Rs 1000 to CMRF .
Mahesh Jain M/S Variety Traders Complex, Thangal Bazaar, the All Manipur Government Aided School Employees’ Coordinating Committee, RSUWO Branch Unit Social Swab Development, Laipham Khunou contributed Rs 2,00,000, Rs 1,10,000 and Rs 50,000 respectively .
The amounts were handed over to Chief Minister N Biren Singh at Chief Minister's Secretariat today evening.
Apart from financial donations, Border Trade Chamber of Commerce, Moreh and Tamil Sangam, Moreh donated relief materials of 485 bags of 25 kg Arhar dal to the value of about Rs 8 lakh to the CMRF.
The Chief Minister expressed gratitude to all the organisations and individuals who had generously contributed to the Relief Fund so far.
