Assam Rifles saves lives

Imphal, October 13 2019:
Assam Rifles provided first aids and treatment to six individuals including a girl child who met an accident near Lokchao village, Chandel today.
They were rushed to the Unit Hospital of Tengnoupal Battalion of 26 Sector Assam Rifles under HQ IGAR (South) at 8.45 am by the president of Meitei Council Moreh, said a statement of PRO AR.
The Omini Van moving from Wangjing to Moreh lost control and fell into a nala near Lokchao village, Chandel district at around 8.15 am.
The unit medical team under Regimental Medical Officer (RMO) administered immediate first aid.
The gril child was severely injured on her hand and arm.
Thoinu, 35 years, and Sarad, age 60 years also suffered serious injuries.
The other three have minor injuries.
All six were provided with necessary treatment at Unit Hospital and referred to RIMS, Imphal subsequently, said AR.
