Imphal, August 30, 2012:
The Union Government, the State Government and the KCP (Lallumba group) have signed an agreement at New Delhi today.
The agreement was signed after a meeting between officials of the State Government, the Union Ministry and the rebel faction.
Due procedures for rehabilitation of the KCP (Lallumba group) cadres would be completed within a year, informed a source.
Meanwhile, the KNO has expressed their reservation in extending the SoO pact by another year.
The group is also refusing to deposit their weapons with police/security forces which are currently kept in double-locked stores.
Nevertheless, as for the UPF, the other conglomerate of Kuki UG groups, next round of dialogue would be held after the scheduled talk with the UNC at New Delhi.
