Kids screened for ailments in Moreh

Moreh, August 21 2014:
Under the Rashtriya Bal Swastha Kariyakaram (RBSK) programme in Moreh, around 300 children have been screened for various ailments during the last three days.
According to reports, 87 children of Ningthingkai primary school in Moreh ward no 1, 99 children of Anganwadi centre at Moreh ward no 7 and 107 children of Moreh Government Higher Secondary School were screened on August 19, 20 and 21 for problems like tooth decay, anaemia, skin diseases, weight loss, ear problems and birth defects.
Medical Officer in-charge of Moreh Primary Health Centre Dr.Khangembam Santikumar, Dr.Tongbram Sujata Devi, Dr.Ngangbam Bidyalaxmi Devi and ANM Laichombam Kumari Devi took part in the screening.
Speaking on the sidelines of the screening, Dr.Santikumar said the ongoing Rashtriya Bal Swastha Kariyakaram (RBSK) is taken up with the objective of bringing about good health among the small children.
