Kakching, September 25 2018:
All Kakching Students Union (AKSU) has denounced the Manipur University raid on intervening night of September 20 and 21 and said that such incident has threatened the sanctity of the University and violated free education system.
In a statement issued by its president Sh Roshan, AKSU blamed the turmoil in the University on 'petty self-driven politics played by some with vested interests' .
It demanded release of teachers and students arrested/detained by the police without any conditions attached and said that it will launch stringent agitation including 'mass surrender of MU degree certificates' if the teachers and students are not released at the earliest.
