Army conducts Counselling for Students at Lilong

Lilong, July 06 2014:
A one-day Career & Counselling session under the theme "Empowerment of Youth in Manipur- Joining Indian armed forces" for the students of Lilong area was conducted at Lilong today.
The Integrated Development Organisation (IDO), Lilong-Ipham and 40 Assam Rifles, Lilong, jointly organized the session in which Major Kartik Thapa, post Commander of 40 Assam Rifles, talked about the various entry schemes in the army regarding Technical Entry Scheme, Short Services Commission (OTA, IMA), Direct Commission (NDA, IMA), NCC Special Entry (Men & Women), University Entry Scheme, Law Graduate Entry, etc.
The session was attended and supported by Lt Col M S Khan, Capt.
Vekash Kumar, Asst Prof, S.Rahaman and M Rashid Ali (Secy., IDO) .
The speakers in the session strongly condemned the acts of unfair means/mass copying during the examinations.
A large number of students of the area attended the counselling session.
