Imphal, March 21 2012:
Discovering the movement of Myanmar nationals in Chamol of Chandel district without valid documents, troops of 24 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector under HQ IGAR (South) launched operation in the area and apprehended two Myanmar nationals on March 20.They were identified as Romal Sawm (25) son of Rozika and Sermonthangi (24) daughter of Thangu.
Both residents of Tahen, Kalemyo, Myanmar.
Two identity-cards, one mobile phone and Indian currency Rs 9480/- were recovered from the apprehended persons who alongwith recoveries were handed over to Tengnoupal Police station, according to a press release of PRO IGAR (S) .
