KNF clarifies over abduction

Clarifying over abduction of three members of Sadar Hills ADC, Kuki National Front (KNF) has asserted that the act was carried out to safeguard democracy and to bring back the seven ADC members who have been abducted by KRA cadres in the intervening night of March 2 and 3.Tendering apology of the unfortunate incident, KNF appealed to the authorities concerned to act immediately for rescuing the seven abducted ADC members.
The statement further stated that KNF released the three members acting on the initiatives taken up by MLA Nemcha Kipgen and MLA Ngamthang Haokip taking into consideration of peace and prosperity and the prayers and support of Sadar Hills Women's Union and Kangpokpi Women's Welfare Organisation.
It also appealed to KRA to release the seven ADC members who are in their custody at the earliest.
