Moreh, May 19 2010:
Several items of Kondong Lairembi, Moreh have been damaged by miscreants most probably on May 16 night.
preparations had already commenced for the annual ritual in the religious site when unidentified persons smashed a large earthen pot kept in the temple premises to quench thirst of travellers, damaged electric bulbs and stoned the temple signboard.
Authorities of 31 Assam Rifles had begun investigation into the matter with a temple priest disclosing that some persons of the nearby village have been quizzed by AR officials.
