Shops down shutters
Source: The Sangai Express
Imphal, September 12 2014 :
Business establishments and shops owned by non-locals in Khwairamband market remained open after police intervention although JCILPS Student Wing had announced 'curfew' on them today.
Although, non-local shopkeepers and owners were reluctant to open their shops in the early morning due to the 'curfew', they started opening their shops one after another after police asked them to do so at about 8.30 am.
However, some shops remained shut even after police came and asked them to open up.
