The November 29 incident at Jangnuam village in Singngat sub-division of Churachandpur wherein an AR Major reportedly made a villager bite a bullet was settled today under the aegis of 3 AR CO, said Jangnuam village Chief S Nengkhanmang, reports our CCpur correspodent.
The incident that took place due to a mistaken identity and made villagers spend sleepless night is now settled in accordance with the Zou customary laws, he is quoted as saying.
The chief and his villagers also claimed that they will continue to appreciate the contribution of the Assam Unit in Behiang and to its people.
