Governor Gurbachan Jagat has greeted the people of Manipur especially the Muslim community on the occasion of Id-ul-Zuha.
In his message, Gurbachan Jagat said that the festival reminds the supreme and selfless sacrifice made by Ibrahim in accepting God's command/instruction regarding the sacrifice of his son.
It is an exhortation to mankind to devote itself to the deeds of high moral value and also to spread the message of goodwill, unity, universal love and brotherhood transcending all differences of caste, creed, language and religion, the Governor said.
Pangal Students' Organization, Manipur also greeted the people of the State on the occasion of Id-ul-Zuha.
